Tollywood has various topics trending every week! But this week, out of nominations like Puri Jagannath stories and Lingaa distributors and Pawan Kalyan’s Gopala Gopala, we had a unanimous choice for our Sensational Star of the Week! Yes, you are right…it is Gopala Gopala!
We know it is the most awaited film, the most anticipated film and the biggest mulitstarrer film, but we have witnessed some never-seen-before frenzy for a big player film. It is a Pawan Kalyan’s release after Attarintiki Daredi but this is the film that witnessed a godly worship in true sense. Pawan essayed the role of Lord Krishna but his fans made him a ‘God’ by giving haarathis at the theatres, performing pujas and palaabhishekas. If this is quite common, fans at some places have offered coconuts and gave haarathi on their bare palms, as per reports.
Well, Pawan Kalyan is a huge star down South but Gopala Gopala is experiencing fanfare and worship of a different level altogether. Fans were waiting for almost a week for the film and the last minute censor delay has only raised unwanted tension amidst fans. The film finally released on Jan 10 and the charity show tickets almost crossed Rs 2000/ticket. There was huge lobbying for the normal tickets and with the positive talk all over; Gopala Gopala is expected to create new records at the box office.
From Pawan Kalyan’s entry to his dialogues, from the basic storyline to its narration, Gopala Gopala was a new experience for the commercial audience. Well, the film is set to make and break new records! Let’s wait and see!
