Court: State vs. A Nobody has garnered significant attention, especially after actor Nani?s bold challenge at the film?s pre-release event. Directed by debutant Ram Jagadeesh, the film is set against the backdrop of the POCSO Act and attempts to shed light on social and legal issues. The film's review is out now. Check it out.

Story:
The story follows Mettu Chandrasekhar (Harsh Roshan), a 19-year-old boy from a humble background who has failed his intermediate exams. His father works as a watchman. Chandu takes up odd jobs, including selling mobile phones and working at a bar. His life takes a turn when Jabili (Sridevi), a minor girl from his locality, begins interacting with him and gradually develops feelings for him. However, their budding love story is shattered when Mangapati (Shivaji), a man obsessed with caste, honor, and social status, files a POCSO case against Chandu. Did Chandu really commit the crime? Can advocate Suryateja (Priyadarshi) prove his innocence? Forms the story of the movie.

Performances:
The performances in Court are one of its biggest highlights. Priyadarshi delivers one of his best roles, moving beyond his usual comedic persona to present a layered, determined lawyer. His performance elevates the film, making Suryateja a relatable and inspiring character. Harsh Roshan and Sridevi bring a natural charm to their roles, making their love story feel authentic. Rohini, despite having limited dialogues, leaves a lasting impact, especially in the climax. Harshavardhan and Sai Kumar also shine in their respective roles. However, it is Shivaji who steals the show with his menacing portrayal of Mangapati.

Technical Aspects:
Technically, the film is solid. Vijay Bulganin?s background score enhances the emotional weight of the film, while the cinematography captures the courtroom and surrounding settings with realism. The film?s editing could have been tighter, especially in some prolonged sequences like Chandu?s bail rejection, but the overall pacing remains engaging. The production values from Nani and producer Prashanthi Thipirneni ensure the film maintains a high standard.

Review:
Court is a rare film that blends legal drama with a strong social message. While it may not cater to audiences seeking commercial entertainment, it is a must-watch for those who appreciate thought-provoking cinema. The film effectively raises awareness about the POCSO Act while delivering an emotionally gripping courtroom battle. Nani?s faith in the film is justified, and with powerful performances, a solid narrative, and a relevant theme, Court is a film that deserves to be seen.

Final Verdict: Court is a gripping court-room drama!
