Plot:
The story revolves around Bhavabhuti (Sree Vishnu), an eccentric cop who retires from service and soon receives a life-changing letter. The letter informs him that he is the legal heir of the Swaganika dynasty and stands to inherit its ancestral property. Overjoyed by the prospect of owning the royal estate, Bhavabhuti heads to the royal family?s estate. However, he soon learns that three other claimants are vying for the same property. The rest of the film unravels the mystery of who the rightful heir is and explores the hidden history behind the Swaganika family.

Performances:
Sree Vishnu takes on the challenge of playing five roles in Swag and excels in each. His ability to adapt his body language and demeanor for each character is commendable. Among the five roles, his portrayal of Vibhuti stands out, especially in the emotional climax, which is bound to leave audiences teary-eyed. In a substantial role, Ritu Varma adds depth to the narrative with her strong performance, while Meera Jasmine shines as she takes on a well-written character that allows her to showcase her acting prowess. Daksha Nagarkar delivers a decent performance, while Sunil and Goparaju Ramana also leave a mark with their respective roles. The rest of the cast impressed one and all.

Technical Aspects:
The production design is one of the film's biggest technical strengths. The royal setting is beautifully recreated, transporting the audience to another world. The use of vintage props and the introduction of characters in the first half are visually impressive. Cinematography effectively captures the bygone era, enhancing the overall aesthetic of the film. However, the music by Vivek Sagar needs to make a lasting impact, while the background score helps elevate some crucial moments.

Director Hasith Goli shows promise as a writer, crafting an innovative storyline with ample scope for drama and masala. However, his execution as a director leaves room for improvement. The screenplay, which could have been more engaging, suffers from unnecessary complexity, leading to confusion. While Swag has an interesting concept, the film?s narrative is bogged down by its convoluted screenplay. Overall, Swag boasts a fresh storyline and strong performances, especially from Sree Vishnu, but struggles with its confusing screenplay and slow pacing. Swag is worth a watch, but it?s best to keep expectations in check.
