Committee Kurrollu, produced by Niharika Konidela, brings together a fresh cast of young actors under Yadu Vamsi's direction. The film, set in a quaint village, was released with considerable buzz and largely met expectations. Check out the film's review below.
Story:
The film is set in the small village of Purushottapalli in the West Godavari region, where the annual Barinkalamma fair is a significant event. However, this time, the fair's fate hinges on a village election that must be conducted within 10 days. Siva (Sandeep Saroj) and his group of friends take it upon themselves to ensure the fair proceeds smoothly, despite the custom that dictates the election should be overseen by Sattiah (Kishor Kumar), who has been absent from the village for over a decade due to a personal tragedy. The story unfolds as the group navigates village politics, personal conflicts, and the importance of tradition.
Performances:
The young cast shines, with Sandeep Saroj leading as Siva. Each actor, including the supporting friends, delivers a solid performance that adds authenticity to the film. The actresses also contribute effectively to the narrative, complementing the male leads well. Although many are new faces, they did their best to showcase their skill. YouTube fame Prasad Behara stands out with a role that allows him to showcase a range of emotions. Veteran actors like Sai Kumar, Goparaju Ramana Raju, and Kishore Kumar also perform strongly.
Technical Aspects:
Strong technical support benefits the film. The music enhances the storytelling, especially the background score and rap bits. The cinematography captures the village's essence beautifully, and the editing keeps the pace lively, ensuring the film doesn't drag. The production values are grand and lavish. The music and background score complement the film's mood and setting well. The cinematography captures the village's picturesque beauty, and the editing maintains a brisk pace.

Review:
The film's first half is particularly engaging, filled with fun, relatable moments that will resonate with 90s kids. The humor and camaraderie among the friends are well-captured, making it easy for the audience to connect with the characters. Director Yadu Vamsi effectively transitions the film from light-hearted fun to more serious, emotional tones without losing the audience's interest. The conflicts and rivalries among friends are depicted in a natural and impactful way. While the first half is engaging, the second half, though decent, feels a bit more predictable and routine. Additionally, a few scenes in the second half feel unnatural and could have been better integrated into the storyline. Despite some routine elements and a predictable second half, the film's humor, strong performances, and relatable moments make it a worthwhile watch.
Final Verdict: Committee Kurrollu Does Not Disappoint!
