Adivi Sesh who is one of the youngest talents in the movie industry came up with his new film titled Major. Directed by Sasikiran Tikka, the film is a biographical action drama, based on the life of Major Sandeep Unnikrishnan who lost his life while fighting the terrorists during the 26/11 Taj terror attacks. Story:
The film's story entirely revolves around the life of Maj. Sandeep Unnikrishnan, who fought against terrorists and was killed in action during the 2008 attacks at the Taj Palace Hotel in Mumbai, India. The film showcases his journey during his teenage, and before the Taj attacks. It is a biographical film laced with some fictional elements.

Performances:
Adivi Sesh is rocking in the film. As Major Unnikrishnan, he is a perfect fit. No one could have pulled out this role better than Sesh. He is very good at emotional, romantic as well as action sequences.

Saiee Manjrekar is cute and adds interesting layers to the story with her performance. Shobhitha does not have a significant role but she is good. Prakash Raj, Parvathy, and Murali Sharma are impressive and made their presence felt. The rest of the cast did their best.

Technicalities:
The film is sound and solid in terms of the technical aspects. The camera work is extremely impressive. The production design needs a special mention. The artwork is brilliant. The best part of the technical team is the audio.

The sound design came out well. Sricharan Pakala's music is too good and his background score is extraordinary. The editing by Vinay is impressive. The production values are lavish. Mahesh Babu, Namratha, and Sony Pictures provided the right support to the team in bringing the film out with the best quality.

Review:
Major is one of the honest and best films made on the 26/11 Taj attacks. Sesh took care of the script extremely well and added perfect emotional elements in finding a connection with the audiences. Although the film's first half looks a bit dull, the second half takes the film to the next level.

The second half is highly packed with the emotional as well as action elements. Altogether, the film has got everything that one would expect from a biographical action film, with added emotional elements. Major is a perfect tribute to Sandeep Unnikrishnan and there is no better way of celebrating his heroic act. Do watch!
