Young Hero Sharwanand whose recent outing 'Maha Samudram' under the direction of Ajay Bhupathi turned out to be a biggest disaster at the box office has pinned all his hopes on his upcoming film, "Aadavallu Meeku Joharlu". Featuring Rashmika Mandana as the female lead, Kishore Tirumala wielded the megaphone for this project.
The movie also showcases yesterday's actresses like Radhika, Urvashi, Kushboo, etc playing crucial roles in the film. The teaser and trailer itself hinted that the movie will be a perfect romantic comedy loaded with entertainment and romance. Amid high expectations, the movie will finally hit the theatres today on March 4, 2022. Here is the review of the movie.
Story:
Chiru (Sharwanand) has so many ladies in his household. Unable to find a girl that can impress all of them, so many marriage alliances gets canceled which frustrates Chiru. One day Chiru met Aadhya (Rashmika Mandanna) and falls in love with her. Aadhya also gets impressed with Chiru and his personality.
However, Chiru who was afraid of revealing his love matter accidentally proposes to her. How did Aadhya react? Did she agree? The rest of the story revolves around the problems he faces and how he overcome them.
Performances:
Sharwanand did a wonderful job in portraying his character. He went under the skin of his character and delivered an impressive performance. Especially his dialogue delivery, body language, comedy timing worked out really well for the film. Rashmika Mandanna is also good in her role. She also delivered an impressive performance in the film. Her chemistry with Sharwanand also is a feast to watch.
Senior actresses Radhika Sarathkumar, Urvashi, and Kushboo are definitely big assets to the film. Be it the comedy scenes or the emotional scenes, they have delivered outstanding performances.
Vennela Kishore's comedy here and there will definitely tickle the laugh bones of the audience. Ravi Shankar is too good in his role and Pradeep Rawat also delivered an honest performance. The rest of the characters also made their presence felt.
Technical Aspects:
Director Kishore Tirumala prepared quite an interesting script for the film. He has blended the comedy as well as emotions perfectly well in the script. The entertainment dosage is very high in the film. However, the emotions in the second half also worked out really well. Though his pace of narration got slowed down a bit here and there, lack of novelty in the plot, and the ending felt rushed.
However, the first half is loaded with entertainment and also will have some feel-good scenes. Dialogues are also well written. The production values are decent. Music by Devi Sri Prasad is good. A couple of songs are quite impressive and his BGM is also decent. Sujith Sarang has delivered colorful visuals for the film. Sreekar Prasad's editing is neat and crisp.
Plus Points:
Comedy
Performances
Music
Dialogues
Minus Points:
Few lengthy scenes
Drags in second half
Verdict:
Though the entertainment will strike the chords with the audience, some of the emotional scenes might not be quite relatable for most of the audience. The movie starts off really well and the entire first half goes on with the same flow full of entertainment and romance. Things take a quick turn in the second half and the director focused more on the emotions in the second half. Though some of the scenes are half-baked, the movie will definitely have some feel-good sequences, hilarious comedy sequences, and impressive dialogues. Overall, 'Aadavallu Meeku Joharlu' is a decent romantic comedy with a huge dosage of entertainment.
Final Verdict: Decent romantic comedy!
