Sreekaram is the new Telugu movie that revolves around farmers and farming. Sharwanand and Priyanka Mohan played the lead roles in the film. New director Kishor directed the film. The film's review is here.
Story:
Karthik (Sharwanand), a software engineer, is set on a mission to promote farming as a pursuable career among youths. The film's story is all about the obstacles he faced in the process of promoting Farming when done unitedly. Why did Karthik decide this as his profession? Why did he resign his job? What happens in the end?
Performances:
Sharwanand's energetic performance will be the biggest highlight of the film. The actor will impress the audience with his screen presence. Be it in the action sequences or in the emotional scenes, Sharwa is too good in his role.
Priyanka Arul Mohan's chemistry with Sharwanand also worked out well and the actress will impress the audience with her performance in the movie.
Sai Kumar's energetic performance also added more strength to the movie. Murali Sharma's performance is too good. Rao Ramesh acted naturally in the movie. Naresh's comedy worked out well in the movie. Aamani got a meaty role in this movie and she will impress the audience with her captivating performance in the movie.
Technical Aspects:
Production values by Ram Achanta and Gopi Achanta under 14 Reels Plus banners are lavish. Music by Mickey J Meyer is just average. However, his background score elevated some crucial scenes in the film. Cinematographer J Yuvaraj impressed with his background visuals and camera angles. Editing by Marthand K Venkatesh is clean.
Review:
Director Kishor B will surely impress the audience with his pace of the narration. He not only took an interesting plotline for the film but also added all the commercial elements and presented it in a beautiful way. Kishor will definitely get some extra brownie points for his beautiful execution and narration of the storyline. Sreekaram is a convincingly made film that never goes off the line. The film completely justifies its core theme of farming. The emotional scenes are well executed with very good dialogues. Though the second half of the movie lags a bit, the film will not disappoint because of the core emotion that never goes out of proportion. On the whole, the film has everything in place and entertains us.
