Roles and Performances:
Though Raj Tarun is suffering from back-to-back losses, he has not lost that confidence and ease in acting. He has taken care of minute things too. Raj Tarun has done a good job.
Riddhi Kumar has done well in her debut movie. She might get other offers too
Rajeev Kanakala has done a good role. Ajay, Subbaraj, Sachin Khedkar are good in their roles.
Analysis:
Though the movie is titled 'Lover' it mainly revolves around crime, mafia, and action. The first half is mostly to introduce the roles.
The chemistry between the hero and the heroine is established well. Comedy falls flat and doesn't entertain much.
The second half has its own twists, action sequences. The movie would have become another disaster for Raj Tarun, it there was no action in the movie.
Technical Aspects:
The production values are good. The Camera work is to be appreciated. Ananthapur is portrayed well and Kerala shots are too good. The screenplay is good too.
The music got a very good response even before the release. So, special mention for the music.
Plus Points:
+ The Second Half
+ Songs
+ Production Values
Minus Points:
- Routine Story
Final Verdict: A routine Story. Title mismatch.
