Hero-turned comedian Sunil as the hero is putting his constant efforts despite the failures. Though his last movie also turned out to be a debacle, Sunil has come up with this movie titled 2 Countries. Seems like Sunil is to keen to give a commercial movie with this. Story:
Sunil plays the role of a young man named Ullas. Ullas is very fond of money and he agrees to marry Patel's daughter in the greed for money. But, he later finds another rich man who is in search of a groom for his daughter and marries her (Laya). Laya who loves Ullas truly gets to know about his real intention behind their marriage. What happens next is to be watched in the theaters only.
Roles and Performances:
Sunil has done a good job. He seems to have given his best to bring out the wit. But, the team seems to be not in sync. So, it looked like a half-baked movie.
Manisha Raj looks beautiful and also appears very near to Telugu nativity. The others roles aren't that interesting.
Analysis:
2 Countries is an official remake of the Malayalam movie. This is an exact copy of the original. Though there are minute changes, it appears like there are many copy-paste scenes. The wit doesn't work and appears like a forced fun. Punches have not worked at all. 2 Countries is a mere disappointment.
Wonder what the makers found that creative that they have made this movie again from Malayalam to Telugu. But, second half is far better than the first one.
Technical Aspects
Sreedhar Seepana’s dialogues are nice. Production values are grand as N Shankar took extra care to shot the film lavishly and the grandeur conveyed on to the screen as well.
Plus Points:
+ Technical Team
Minus Points:
- Everything except technical team
Final Verdict:
2 Countries- You can skip.
