Keshava Tag Line: 'Revenge' Is Interesting!

Keshava Plot:

Keshav Sharma (Nikhil Siddharth) is a law student. Keshav always looks serious in life and he loses his parents in the childhood in a car accident. He is survived by his sister Monica. As days pass by, Keshav involves in some mysterious murders and the police officials go clueless about these sudden murders. At the same time Satya Bhama (Ritu Varma), Keshav's college mate finds Keshav is behind all these murders. What is Keshav's connection with these murders and why is he trying to serve the dish Revenge served cold reveals the plot of the film.

Keshava Performances:

Nikhil Siddharth is seen playing an entirely different role in the film. Nikhil is seen sporting a completely serious look for the movie. Nikhil tried his best to be seen different. The variation in the performance is evident but he failed to show up the same variations in his look. On a whole, this is another role for him where he can be proud of his performance in his career.

Ritu Varma is good looking in the film. She has been presented with a different styling and she impressed with her glamour and performance.

Isha Koppikar plays a powerful cop role in the movie. Isha is seen in an interesting role but there is not much scope for her role. Anasuya's dubbing for her suited well.

Vennela Kishore and Priyadarshi Pullikonda are seen in hilarious roles and they did try to evoke some healthy laughs in the movie. Other comedians like Sudarshan are okay in the film. The actors like Rao Ramesh, Brahmaji, Ajay and Raja Ravindra are good in their roles and did impress in their limited roles.

Keshava Analysis:

Nikhil's Keshava plot is amazing. The way director cooked up the story around the Revenge is impressive. By observing the plot from the top angle, it seems to be a routine story but when it comes to execution, there are a lot of surprise elements. Also, the best part of executing the movie is that the audiences will constantly get surprised by the screenplay. Whenever you predict that something is happening, the director surprises with a new angle. This is an interesting angle to the story of Keshava. The characters were well immersed in the story line of the film.

From the first scene to the last scene, there are a lot of scenes that will blow your mind. As the film is made with a crisp run time, the audiences will never feel bored., Moreover, the pacy and gripping narration will make the audiences involved in the movie completely. The first half of the film is very good with the establishment of the characters, plotline and the twist. The interval bang is too good that you can't wait for the second half of the film to begin. That's how the director cleverly managed to cook an engaging plot with so many thrilling elements.

The Slick & stylish first half of the film is too good when compared with the second half of the film. Throughout the film, the style supersedes everything all in all. The plot and narration of the film by Sudheer Varma made the movie an interesting watch. The makers wanted the revenge concept to be told in a fresh and unique manner which did not go well properly. Except for that small up and down moment in the second half, the entire film is worth watching once.

Technically, the film Keshava was made with high standards. Going by the look and all, the producers have not compromised in the quality of the film. The production values of Abhishek Pictures are grand. The cinematography by Diwakar Mani is amazing. The actors look completely different and rich on screen. The editing by SR Sekhar is sharp. He has tried his best to make the film run speed in an engaging manner. The music is good. The art direction is impressive. The makers shot the film mostly in the real locations and that's an interesting aspect of the film. The action sequences were designed nicely.

Positives:

+ Performances from Lead Actors
+ Screenplay
+ Gripping Narration
+ Less Run Time

Negatives:

- Genre Limits to Few Audiences
- Songs
- Few ups and Downs in Second Half

Keshava Music:

Sunny MR composed the music for the film. Almost all Sunny's songs sound similar which is a drawback and they sometimes lack the freshness. Except for one or two songs, the rest of them are just ok. The background score impresses big time.

Keshava Verdict:

Keshava film has got an interesting storyline that is going to be an interesting one. The plotline is interesting but the film is limited to limited audiences. The story is engaging and the execution is also nice. The film, on a whole, is worth watching once. But the film could have been much better than what it is. Keshava is a very good film which can also be the best film if dealt properly.
