Pushpa 2 Hits 1000 Cr Rupees At Box Office

Allu Arjun and director Sukumar's latest offering, Pushpa 2: The Rule, is leaving no stone unturned as it entered the Rs 1,000-crore club globally. The much-awaited sequel, which hit theatres on December 5, has been having a phenomenal run, especially in the Hindi belt.

According to the trade reports, it is safe to say that the Hindi version of Pushpa 2 is performing better than the original Telugu version. The film has created a record for an Indian film to achieve this milestone within a week of its release.

Pushpa 2 earned a whopping Rs 52.50 crore net on Tuesday, December 10. Though this is a dip from the Day 5 collection, it is still considered a solid number as the film will pick up momentum during its second weekend in theatres.

Mythri Movie Makers, the production house of Pushpa 2, confirmed that the film grossed Rs 922 in just five days. It became the fastest Indian film to cross the Rs 900 mark globally. In six days, it touched the mark of 1000 Cr rupees gross at the box office.
