Popular Lyricist Kulasekhar Is No More

Kulasekhar, a prominent lyricist known for his work in early 2000s Telugu cinema, passed away at the age of 52 at Gandhi Hospital in Hyderabad. Despite earning fame for his soulful lyrics, his career took a downturn, and he had been away from the film industry for several years.

Kulasekhar gained recognition for his collaborations with music director R.P. Patnaik and director Teja, delivering hit songs for films like Chitram, Nuvvu Nenu, Manasantha Nuvve, and others. Some of his famous songs are, Ranu Ranu Antune, Gajuwaka Pilla, Desam Manadi, Devude Digi Vachina, Yegire Mabbulalona, Appudeo Ippudu Eppudo and many others.

Born in 1971 in Simhachalam, Kulasekhar began his career as a journalist with Eenadu before transitioning to the film industry. Over the course of his career, he contributed lyrics to over 100 films, leaving a lasting impact on Telugu cinema.

He will be remembered for his lyrical brilliance and the emotional resonance of his songs. May his soul rest in peace.
