Priyadarshi is back with comedy; will he bag a hit this time?

The teaser of Sarangapani Jathakam, directed by Mohanakrishna Indraganti, was released today by the ever-charismatic Vijay Deverakonda. Produced by Sivalenka Krishna Prasad under the Sridevi Movies banner, the film stars Priyadarshi and Roopa Koduvayur in lead roles. Marking the third collaboration between Indraganti and Sivalenka Krishna Prasad after the hits Gentleman and Sammohanam, the movie is set to hit theaters on December 20th.

Speaking at the teaser launch, Vijay Deverakonda expressed his admiration for the film’s team. “Priyadarshi is like a brother to me, and I’m thrilled to see how far he’s come in his journey. From our days in Pelli Choopulu, I’ve witnessed his rise as a leading actor in stories with unique and engaging concepts. Watching the teaser of Sarangapani Jathakam has been delightful; Priyadarshi’s character, who believes deeply in horoscopes, adds an interesting twist to the story.”

Vijay also lauded director Indraganti and producer Sivalenka Krishna Prasad, stating, “Indraganti’s storytelling is always fresh and enjoyable. I still remember how much I laughed watching his Ashta Chamma. And Sridevi Movies has a reputation for delivering high-quality films. I wish Sarangapani Jathakam great success.”

A Quirky Tale of Destiny and Drama

The teaser offers a glimpse into a unique narrative. Priyadarshi plays a character deeply obsessed with horoscopes, convinced that life unfolds precisely as predicted. His childlike excitement when positive predictions come true is both amusing and intriguing. However, the teaser raises several compelling questions:

What drives Sarangapani to extreme actions like attempting murder at a wedding?

Why does he clash with VK Naresh’s character?

What’s the mystery behind Tanikella Bharani’s role as a mythical-like Kichakudu?

And why does he impatiently await the death of a grandmother named Sundaramma?

The answers to these mysteries promise to unravel in an entertaining mix of humor, drama, and suspense on December 20th.

Stellar Comedy and Supporting Cast

The teaser hints at a strong dose of humor, with actors like Srinivas Avasarala, Vennela Kishore, and Viva Harsha bringing their impeccable comic timing to the forefront. From witty exchanges to laugh-out-loud moments, the film promises plenty of laughs. Avasarala delivers memorable lines like, “He who has the celestial bow Sharanga is Sarangapani,” while Vennela Kishore shines with quirky humor.

With Vadlamani Srinivas playing a concerned father and a storyline packed with twists, Sarangapani Jathakam seems set to capture the audience's imagination. Don’t miss this intriguing mix of comedy, destiny, and drama in theaters on December 20th!
