Megastar Chiranjeevi Begins Damage Control Measures On Vishwambhara

Megastar Chiranjeevi surprised everyone by accepting a film with director Vasshisth, who only made Bimbisara until then. Earlier, Chiru was supposed to work with Venky Kudumula, Kalyan Krishna and others. But, after the failure of Bholaa Shankar, Chiru decided to play it safe but then, he picked up the socio-fantasy genre Vishwambhara. The team released the film's teaser recently, but it opened to negative feedback.

The negative feedback is mainly because of the poor VFX work for the teaser. During the times when a small film, HanuMan, generated great quality in VFX, films like Vishwambhara with a big budget failed to convince the audiences on the technical front. The similar criticism of Vishwambhara resulted in heavy criticism against the film on social media.

In response to the brewing controversy, Chiranjeevi is reportedly taking matters into his own hands, personally supervising the project to fix the issues and control the damage. Given the unexpected negative feedback, he has begun discussions with a couple of directors in which he has the utmost trust.

With the film's release anticipated for May, there’s still ample time—over six months—to address any concerns. The shooting is nearing completion, alleviating immediate pressure, and adjustments can be made systematically.

It is a very good strategical move to begin the retrospection into the film's quality, earlier than expected. Let us see if this helps the team in coming up with better output next time.
