Choreographer Jani Master Granted Interim Bail

Choreographer Jani Master, currently under remand at Chanchalguda Central Jail due to allegations of sexually assaulting his assistant choreographer, has been granted interim bail by the Ranga Reddy district court.

The bail allows his release from October 6 to October 10 so that he can attend the prestigious National Awards ceremony on October 8, where he will be honored for Best Choreography.

Jani Master won the award for his choreography in the song "Megham Karukatha" from Dhanush's movie Thiruchitrambalam. The court granted him interim bail in recognition of the significance of this event in his career.

The accusations against Jani Master arose a few weeks ago when a 21-year-old woman accused him of sexually assaulting her, claiming that the abuse started when she was a minor.

Consequently, a POCSO case was filed, and he was arrested by Hyderabad police while in Goa. Initially, the court ordered a 15-day remand, which was subsequently extended.
