Dulquer Salmaan is on the roll in Telugu cinema right now. He surprised everyone recently by signing up for a film, in the direction of Pawan Sadineni. Titled Aakasham lo Oka Tara, the film is backed by Swapna Cinema. Pawan Sadineni has not scored a blockbuster commercially but it is a very good opportunity for him to handle this pan-India film.
Surprisingly, the film also has a strong technician's backing. He is Gunnam Gangaraju who does not need any introduction to the film folks. With Just Yellow productions, he carved a sit-com Amrutham for the 90s kids. He is a strong story teller who penned the story for this project.
On the occasion of Dulquer's birthday recently, the makers launched the film and the writer shared his thoughts on the same.
"Writing this script gave me immense joy. The story seemed like an actualisation of my favourite Seetharama Sastry song, “ningi entha pedhdhadhaina rivvu manna guvva pilla rekka mundhu thakkuvenu ra.”" wrote Gangaraju Gunnam on his X profile.
Sandeep Gunnam and Ramya Gunnam are bankrolling the project.
