The much-awaited collaboration between director SS Rajamouli and actor Mahesh Babu is gaining momentum as the muhurat for the project has been set. The movie will have an African jungle backdrop, and Rajamouli's father Vijayendra Prasad has already begun working on the story. The script will be discussed soon between Rajamouli, Mahesh Babu, and Vijayendra Prasad.
According to reports, the team is planning to launch the project in August this year. Before that, Rajamouli is said to be organizing a workshop, which Mahesh Babu will also attend for two months. The shoot is expected to commence in 2024.
Actor Rana Daggubati has expressed his interest in playing a powerful antagonist in the film. There are also rumors that Deepika Padukone is being considered for the female lead opposite Mahesh Babu.
