With 2022 coming to an end, many are having a retrospect about their lives throughout the year. When it comes to cinema, one would say, the theatres and the audience have changed & revived remarkably. Although the hits & success were rare, whenever there was one, it was global.
IMDb has recently come up with the top ten most popular films in India and has composed them based on the action of the film page, which included reviews, ratings, and sharing.
Of course, 'RRR' topped the list, followed by another obvious one, 'K.G.F. Chapter 2'. Both the films have literally brought back what the theatre has lost in covid. Not only the business but also the aspect of celebrating the film culture was also re-instated by these two films, not only nationally, but also globally.
Along with these, 'The Kashmir Files' and 'Rocketry' also have made the list. People very much gave themselves in for these films that were based on real-life incidents.
Along with these Vikram, Kantara, Ponniyin Selvan - 1 too made the list but, Major, Sita Ramam, 777 Charlie made a surprise entry into the list.
