James Cameron, a.k.a. Jim Cameron, universally hailed as one of the greatest filmmakers in the history of cinema, has finally decided to release his ambitious 'Avatar' franchise starting this year. After nearly 5 months, a new trailer was released!
The film begins after a decade of the events of 'Avatar', following Jake Sully, who now has a couple of children along with his own tribe to lead. With the rise of new trouble, they find their way to fight back along with discovering a new life on their planet. They even seek the help of another tribe to stand up to the eternal crisis they are going to face. Needless to say, the film was completed 3 years ago, but Cameron was hesitant to release it because the theatres lack the proper technology to project his vision of cinema. Now with the arrival of 'Laser IMAX' he finally decided to release the film.
Produced by himself, the film has the score conducted by Simon Franglen, while cinematography is helmed by Russell Carpenter, marking their third collaboration post 'True Lies' and 'Titanic'.
Avatar: The Way of Water arrives in theatres on December 16, 2022.
