Going into the news, the actor has been invited to attend 125th birth celebrations of freedom fighter Alluri Sitharamaraju in Bhimavaram, West Godavari district.
Indian Prime Minister Narendra Modi is set to attend this event as chief guest. PM Modi will be unveiling a 30-feet statue of the freedom fighter at S.R Nagar in Bhimavaram as part of 'Azadi Ka Amrut Mahotsav' event and address a public gathering. Union Minister for Tourism, G Kishan Reddy, has extended the invitation to Chiranjeevi asking him to be part of this event. So, it is likely to expect that PM Modi and Megastar will share the same dias for the first time.
According to the district collector, a week-long cultural events and meetings will be organized in Bhimavaram to highlight the greatness of Alluri for this generation.
