Young Rebel Star Prabhas whose recent film 'Radhe Shyam' failed to impress the audience has joined hands with Kannada star director Prashanth Neel of 'KGF' fame for a high-budget action flick titled 'Salaar'.
The makers have kickstarted the shooting of the film. The movie will get released in two parts. Now an interesting buzz about the film is that Talented Tamil actor Mime Gopi is onboard for 'Salaar'. It seems like the makers have locked him for a crucial role in the film. Gopi is one of the popular actors in Kollywood and his presence in the film will increase the hype around 'Salaar' in Kollywood as well. Gopi is a known actor for Tollywood audience as well as he was recently seen in an important role in Allu Arjun's 'Pushpa' as well.
Shruti Hassan is playing the female lead role in the film. Vijay Kiragandur under the Hombale Films banner is bankrolling this project. Ravi Basrur is composing tunes for the flick.
