The movie received a thumping response from the audience and Rakul Preet got a much-needed hit in her career.
However, the actress recently came up with an out and out entertainer 'Sardar Ka Grandson' starring Arjun Kapoor. The makers opted for a direct digital release for the movie and released the film on Netflix. The movie which has been streaming on Netflix has been receiving a lukewarm response from the audience. NDTV gave a 1.5 / 5 rating to this movie. Also, the fans are hugely disappointed with Rakul Preet Singh's character in the film which is nothing less than a cameo role. Apart from a couple of scenes, Rakul Preet won't appear on the screen. So, some are commenting that Rakul Preet should also focus on her role before signing the project.
On the other hand, Rakul Preet recently played the female lead in Vaishnav Tej's upcoming movie under the direction of Krish. The movie which is going to run with a forest backdrop will get released very soon.
