It has been a long time since we saw Nitya Menen in a big Telugu film. She ha been featuring on and off in Telugu films but none of them is a big-budget star feature. If the current reports are anything to go by, the Malayali beauty is all set to make her powerful comeback into Tollywood. As per the sources, Nitya Menen is in talks of playing the female lead opposite Power Star Pawan Kalyan in the upcoming remake of Ayyappanum Koshiyum.
Earlier, the makers planned to sign Sai Pallavi for this role but she couldn't accept the offer due to the dates issues. It seems that Nitya gave her nod to the film and an official announcement is expected to be made once she signs the dotted lines. Rana Daggubati is playing the other lead role in this movie. Aishwarya Rajesh will be acting as the heroine alongside him.
This untitled project is being directed by Sagar K Chandra. Trivikram is penning the screenplay and dialogues of it. The makers are planning to release this movie in September this year.
