The government of India released guidelines for the reopening of the theatres across the country. As per the guidelines, the theatres can be re-opened from October 15th. However, the theatres in the Telugu states still remain closed. But, the theatres in Delhi, Haryana, Uttar Pradesh, West Bengal, Madhya Pradesh, Gujarat, Karnataka are already in operations. With the COVID crisis, the theatres across the country were shut down from March.
The government also gave a standard operating procedure for selling beverages and tickets at the theatres. The temperature checking is mandatory before allowing the people in the theatres. The sanitization process takes place from time to time. Also, the data of the audiences should be collected for the contact tracing. Bollywood films Chicchore, Kedarnath, Malang, Thappad and a few other films are having a re release in theatres.
