Mega Star Chiranjeevi is set to resume the shoot for his next film Acharya, under the direction of Koratala Siva. Soon after Acharya, the actor has remakes of Vedalam and Lucifer. There is no clarity on the remake project that goes on to the floors first. Most likely, it will be the remake of Vedalam that will hit the floors. Meher Ramesh wants to begin the film in the first half of next year. Already, Meher Ramesh began the pre-production work for the film.
The buzz is that Chiranjeevi asked Ramesh to wrap up the movie in just three months. Since it is a remake, Chiru asked the director to be thorough with the pre-production and finish the talkie part as early as possible. As soon as Chiranjeevi wraps up the film Acharya, he will jump on to the Vedalam remake sets. Sai Pallavi is in talks to play Chiranjeevi's sister in the film.
