Vaishnav Tej is the new entry into the movie industry from the Mega family. Sukumar's former associate Buchi Babu Sana is making his debut with the film Uppena starring Vaishnav Tej. The film was supposed to hit the screens on 1st April. But the lockdown disrupted the plans of the film's release.
Now, there are a lot of rumours in the media that the movie releases in two parts, on a OTT platform. Apparently, the makers shot a lot of footage and they wanted to cut the film into two parts and release it online. But, the sources close to the film unit deny the rumours.
The talk is that the film will either have a direct OTT release in a single part or will wait for more months until the theatres get reopened.
