Director Puri Jagannath earlier came up with the film Janagana Mana announcement and Mahesh Babu was considered for the hero role. But, later, the project did not happen. A gap developed between Puri Jagan and Mahesh Babu which has made the project being called off. But, recently, Puri made a statement again that Janagana Mana is his dream project and he is going to do it very soon.
Apparently, the reports reveal that a Bollywood hero will play the lead role in the movie. Also, the sources close to the director revealed that Puri Jagan has changed the story completely and it has a lot of new elements that came into the script. The film is touted to be a patriotic drama which will be on the military backdrop.
As of now, there is no confirmation on who will play the lead.
