After Rudhramadevi, director Gunasekhar did not reveal anything about his new movie. He was supposed to do a sequel to Rudhramadevi, with the title Prathaparudrudu, but it did not happen. Later, he teamed up with Rana Daggubati to do a mythological drama, Hiranyakashyapa. The director took almost three years for the pre-production work.
Finally, the pre-production is complete and the director has now given a final and official update on the film. The director hopes to begin the other things about the movie once the things come back to normalcy.
