The deadly Coronavirus is impacting public gathering at the stadium, cinema hall, air travel & more. Already, the cinema halls in a couple of states including Kerala are asked to shut down by respective state governments.
The COVID-19 is likely to show its effect on Telugu films releasing for Ugadi. Concerned with growing fears of Corona Virus, Natural Star Nani-Sudheer Babu's 'V' - which is scheduled for March 25 release - may get postponed to a later date. Mohan Krishna Indraganti is its director.
However, there is no official announcement so far. Once the fears surrounding Corona Virus settle down, the makers may announce a fresh release date. Raj Tharun's 'Orey Bujjiga' was also scheduled for Ugadi day, but this film may find a new release date.
Anushka's 'Nishabdham' is lighting cinemas on April 2nd. If things settle down by that time, the film will walk into theatres as per plan. Some 6-7 films released this week are unlikely to get the attention of audiences. Considering that viewers are not turning up to watch a film in theatres, many cinema halls are shut down in AP and Telangana.
