Superstar Mahesh Babu's Sarileru Neekevvaru, which released for Sankranthi this year, has gone on to become a massive hit at the box-office. Made by Anil Ravipudi, the film offers a decent amount of fun, action, entertainment and a lot more. Despite the Mega clash with Allu Arjun's 'Ala Vaikuntapuramlo' during Pongal, the film collected massive money at the box-office.
Both the films fought it out for 'Industry Hit' tag and finally, Ala Vaikuntapuramlo bagged Non-Baahubali record while Mahesh's Sarileru has entered into the list of All Time Top-5.
Sarileru Neekevvaru has collected a worldwide share of Rs 130 Cr and buyers have witnessed good profits in all the areas. According to trade analysts, the film ended up with some minimal loss in overseas. The area-wise break up of collections: Nizam -34 Cr, Overseas-11.5 Cr, Ceeded-15 Cr, and Uttarandhra-18 Cr.
Two weeks after the release, makers included some additional scenes but it didn't help the film. Had Ala Vaikuntapuramlo not been there during Sankranthi, Sarileru Neekevvaru would have performed much better.
