Virataparvam has been in news for a long time. This Rana Daggubati and Sai Pallavi starrer have been winning the limelight since the day it was announced. The film went on floors last year and the makers have shot it by keeping many things under wraps.
As per the latest report, this film, which is directed by Venu Udugula, who made Needi Naadi Okate Katha, has been wrapped up without much noise. This film has Nandita Das in a key role.
Sai Pallavi, the leading lady of the flick will be seen playing a Naxalite and this is something very rare. A major schedule and a fight sequence have been wrapped up recently in the forests of Vikarabad.
Tabu was also part of the film, initially, where she was roped in to play the role of a mentor for Naxalites. But due to her packed schedules, Tabu couldn’t make it to this film and got replaced by Nandita Das.
Rana is awaiting the release of a multilingual film Aranya whereas Sai Pallavi is busy shooting for Sekhar Kammula’s Love Story. So hopefully, Virata Parvam might release likely either in summer, or post-summer.
