Taapsee Pannu who first introduced from the south industry has reached Bollywood, made her impact with acting and script selection, now keeping her trend in Bollywood News. Her latest film 'Tappad' has released recent Friday but couldn't pull the audience to theatres.
Tappad is the story of a wife who files for a divorce when her husband slaps her. The storyline seems interesting. The trailer received a good talk and the film was expected to bring a good box office number. However the talk of the film is, it has not good collections till now.
To another side of the story, Taapsee has recently made comments on Anti-CAA Protests which led a group of people to trend Ban Tappad Hashtag which now seems to be one of the reasons for the film failure. Talking about the same, Taapsee tweeted, "An actor is never bigger than a film. A film has hundreds of people involved in it. It is stupid to decide whether or not you will watch a movie based on an actor’s socio-political views."
However, Seeing Opening Day Collections, Tappad did better collections than Kangana Ranaut's recent release 'Panga'.
