With Baahubali, SS Rajamouli has proved his potential in Bollywood. The magnum opus has opened the Hindi market for many Telugu films. In the latter days, Saaho and Sye Raa have tested their luck in Bollywood. While Sye Raa bombed in Hindi, Saaho managed to make some money. Now, Rajamouli's RRR will be releasing in Hindi besides many other regional languages. To make the best out of the Hindi market, the director has roped in Bollywood star Ajay Devgan for a crucial role.
But, the filmmaker seems to have changed his target. Rather than concentrating more on Hindi, the filmmaker wants to set his focus on the Southern market. SS Rajamouli is under the impression that the soul of the film will get affected if any changes are made to the subject to suit Bollywood audiences. Alluri Seetharama Raju and Komaram Bheem are Telugu warriors, who might be new to Hindi audiences. So, there is some risk involved here.
That is why Rajamouli wants to slim down Bollywood expectations and keen to focus only on the South Indian market. Considering the above-mentioned point, the publicity and impact on RRR is unlikely to be high in Bollywood.
