Last year, when Central Government was facing the no-confidence motion in Parliament, AP MP Jayadev Galla quoted dialogue from Superstar Mahesh Babu's 'Bharath Ane Nenu'. Guntur MP translated the dialogue from the movie - 'If a man fails to keep up a promise he made, he will not have the right to call himself a man'. It had hit the headlines at that time.
Now, yet again, a couple of Mahesh Babu dialogues were quoted in Andhra assembly by Singanamala MLA Jonnalagadda Padmavathi. While speaking on the education bill passed by the ruling party on Thursday, she attacked the TDP for objecting it with a popular dialogue from Sarileru Neekevvaru - "The drama being played by TDP is like never before-ever after".
The YSR Congress legislator has gone on to praise their leader with a dialogue from Mahesh Babu's Khaleja - "Nuv Anukunte Avudhi Saami, Ni Navvu Varam, Ni Kopam Shaapam, Ni Maata Saashanam Saami." The 'never before - ever after' is a super hit catchy phrase by Rashmika, her mother and sister during the train episode in the film.
