The internal conflicts of MAA (Movie Artists Association) have yet again flared up and everything seems to be unwell among elected members. Despite having won from the same panel and being part of the same committee, the executive members of MAA are locking horns with each other. On top of it, the organization is literally bifurcated into two groups - one led by Jeevitha-Rajasekhar and another group is being led by MAA President Naresh.
Both Naresh and Rajasekhar have contested as some panel members. While Naresh won as the President of MAA, Rajasekhar got elected as Vice-president. But, but they are no more in good terms now.
On one hand, Rajasekhar's group is alleging that Naresh is misusing his power and taking all the decisions unilaterally. The other important accusation on Naresh is that he has misused the funds of MAA. Recently, with a view to finding a resolution by understanding the internal issues of MAA, Senior Telugu actor Krishnam Raju has come forward and organized a meeting with members of Association.
Everyone assumed this meeting would help to settle the internal issues, but it has further flared up the issue as MAA members have verbally confronted each other in the meeting. Senior Writer Paruchuri Gopala Krishna has walked out of the meeting and Comedian Prithvi too had expressed his dissent over internal affairs of MAA. Finally, these developments indicate a fresh clash had arisen in MAA and it remains to be seen where it will lead to.
