Kollywood star and Universal Hero Kamal Haasan has entered politics with his party Makkal Needhi Maiam. His party contested in recent Lok Sabha polls and secured 3.72% vote share in Tamil Nadu.
According to our latest reports, Kamal has been invited to one of the highly prestigious events in the country when it comes to politics - the oath-taking ceremony of Prime Minister Narendra Modi on May 30 in New Delhi. For Kamal Haasan, it certainly is a great honour as it will see several attendances of high profile names across the nation including the President Ramnath Kovind, Union cabinet members, Telangana CM KCR, AP Chief Minister-elect YS Jagan Mohan Reddy among others.
Already, Kamal is said to have received an invitation to attend the oath-taking ceremony. The invite to Kamal has drawn interest among political circles because Kamal sparked controversy during the election campaign by calling 'Nathuram Godse' a Hindu terrorist.
