Maverick director Ram Gopal Varma’s latest release Lakshmi’s NTR is still struggling for release in Andhra Pradesh, due to some political reservations. It is known that Telugu Desam Party has approached High Court of Andhra Pradesh against the release of Lakshmi’s NTR and High Court has ordered for not release it in AP.
However, Lakshmi’s NTR was released in Telangana, Overseas and some states in India and got a good response. Earlier it was reported that High Court of Andhra Pradesh will see the preview of Lakshmi’s NTR, but due to the case filed by Lakshmi’s NTR team was pending in Supreme Court, High Court clearly says that there is no chance for preview and giving any verdict. On the other hand, the High Court of Andhra Pradesh adjourned the case hearing to 9th of April. So, there are fewer chances for releasing of Lakshmi’s NTR before elections in Andhra Pradesh.
In the meanwhile, makers of Lakshmi’s NTR are still confident about its release before elections and they are saying that the Supreme Court will do justice. We have to wait and see for the Top Court’s ruling.
