There are many plans for Yatra to ‘live’ up to upcoming elections, sources said. Yatra film, based o Late YS Rajasekhar Reddy and it was released recently. Though Yatra collected good figures, they are not up to the mark, trade pundits expressed their view.
Yatra’s pre-release business was done for almost 13 Cr, but the film as of now got only 6 Cr plus. On the other hand, satellite rights and digital rights are will make huge money for the makers. In the meantime, YSRCP supporters are hoping that this film should run for 2 to 3 months and it will make big political benefit for the YSR Congress Party. But it is not much easy for a film to run for a long time. However, Sakshi Channel of YSR Congress Party is repeatedly showing Yatra clippings and it is all for political sympathy, everyone knows.
What more shocking is, very few cine celebrities only responded about Yatra, and many are going calm. Yatra director Mahi V Raghav had posted a ‘powerful’ writing about this issue in social media, which went viral within minutes.
