After roping in actors like Nithya Menen and Rakul Preet Singh to play Savithri and Sridevi respectively, one more actor joins the cast of Kathanayakudu, a biopic on late actor-turned-politician Nandamuri Taraka Rama Rao. Malavika Nair of Evade Subramanyam is all set to play the character of Krishna Kumari.
The veteran heroine shared a cordial relationship with the senior actor and they were considered as one among the hit-pairs of Telugu film industry in those days. Scenes on Malavika and Balakrishna will be shot in the coming days is what Krish & co are planning to do. This Delhi-based actor was seen playing Gemini Ganeshan’s first wife in Mahanati. Not just Malavika, but many other actors from the present-day Telugu film industry are reprising popular characters which had notable relationship with NTR.
While Kathanayakudu, which is releasing on January 9, focuses more on NTR’s journey from a common man to a superstar, Mahanayakudu will showcase his achievements in his political journey is expected to release on January 24.
