Among the recent set of releases, the kind of boosting and thrust one film got is beyond words. We are talking about the film ‘C/o Kancharapalem’ which didn’t have any known faces nor any glamorous backdrop or Hungama. The film was made at a shoestring budget of around 75 lakhs but here is the thing.
It appears this film has revealed a new culture emerging in the Telugu Film Industry. Firstly, the film has proved that it takes good content and proper execution to entertain the audience more than anything else. Secondly, the film got immense support from the industry folks and they lifted it to the sky.
The box office figures may not really go in line with the way the film has been appreciated but it has shown one thing. Normally when a film releases in Bollywood, more than half of the industry starts promoting it in the social media and other platforms. This has now started in the Telugu circuit which is a good sign.
