It has been ages since the film ‘Vishwaroopam 2’ was in the pipeline and at one point most of them concluded it is not going to see the light. However, the man behind the project is Universal Star Kamal Haasan and he is one person who doesn’t give up. After many years he finally brought it back to life and locked it for release.
The film was due to arrive in theatres on August 10th but then another speed breaker has come. This is in the form of the demise of Tamil Nadu’s political veteran Karunanidhi. Theatres have voluntarily closed in that state as mark of mourning. Even Kamal has expressed his deepest condolences and he would reschedule the release to August 15.
The film was to arrive in Telugu, Tamil and Hindi versions but the postponement would delay the release. In a way, it is a blessing in disguise for Kamal at least in Telugu because a strong contender in the form of ‘Srinivasa Kalyanam’ is arriving which would have dented the collections if ‘Viswaroopam’.
