Though all of us know Nandamuri Natasimham Balakrishna as a hardcore mass star, those who know him closely reveal he is extremely passionate about doing mythological roles. The fact that his father, the great N T Rama Rao, was an epitome of God in his roles as Lord Rama and Lord Krishna contributes to this feeling.
In this regard, Balayya’s dream project was ‘Narthanasala’, one of his father’s greatest hits. He started the project but had to stop it due to the unexpected demise of heroine Soundarya who was doing the role of Draupadi in that. Since many years Balayya never touched that subject but now it is heard that his dream is going to be fulfilled.
It is known that he is doing the biopic of his father and sources reveal Balayya is going to be seen as Briharnala as part of ‘Narthanasala’. This role was essayed by NTR in the original. Mahabharata states Brihannala was none other than the mighty Arjuna who was cursed at one point and had to become like that.
