Rythu Bandhu Padhakam is also called Farmers' Investment Support Scheme (FISS) under which the government of Telangana releases a certain amount for the farmers who own agricultural lands in the state.
Harish Shankar own a piece of agricultural land at Kammadanam village in Telangana. He gets the benefit under Farmers' Investment Support Scheme (FISS), which he decided to give it away to the other farmers who really make the ends meet only with the help of agriculture.
Harish has decided to return the amount that he received from the government of Telangana under the Farmers' Investment Support Scheme (FISS) (also called Rythu Bandhu Padhakam) for his land in the Kammadanam village so that it could be used to benefit other farmers in need. He handed over his cheque to the village sarpanch in the presence of regional MLA. It is a very good gesture indeed.
