The business of cinema has now reached a stage where one decision can affect many and it is imperative to have a proper consensus before taking a call. However, things are not working the way they should because of the veto power of the biggies. Apparently, the industry is now facing a threat of theatre shut down.
For a long time, there has been an issue between the producers, exhibitors of Tollywood and the providers of the digital service Qube and UFO. The producers have been urging about the increasing costs and to propose a proper solution. The latest update is that discussions with the digital service providers have failed.
The talks took place in Bangalore and due to the failed talks, from March 2nd onwards, no film will take their service. While a settlement has to happen all eyes are on two biggies. As such, sources say mega mastermind Allu Aravind and razor-sharp Daggubati Suresh Babu have a share in these entities and whatever he and Suresh say happens. It is the time the duo works on a via media solution.
