Super Star Rajinikanth is constantly hinting his political debut lately. Not just him, the other actors Kamal Haasan, Vijay etc seem to be keen to enter the politics. Actor Vijay's latest movie Mersal has been making small-big controversies regarding the politics in India.
Mersal movie is in talks nation-wide for its dig at the Goods and Services Tax (GST) and digital India. This triggered all the drama around the movie and many of them came up saying it is indeed a very sensible thing to be addressed.
“Important topic addressed… Well done!!! Congratulations team ‘Mersal’,” Super Star Rajinikanth tweeted yesterday. Kamal Haasan also expressed the similar thing earlier when there were allegations on Mersal. When Mersal was said to be re-censored, Kamal tweeted, "Mersal was certified. Don't re-censor it. Counter-criticism with a logical response. Don't silence critics. India will shine when it speaks."
While the Tamil actors are standing in support to the movie and the sensible point regardging GST, there are people who think it is just another stunt to make controversy and pull the audience to the theaters. Directed by Atlee the movie stars Samantha Ruth Prabhu, Kajal Agarwal, Nithya Menon, SJ Surya in the other leads. AR Rahman has composed the music for this movie which is to be released as Adirindhi in Telugu.
