After the success of Jr. NTR starter Nannaku Prematho, Sukumar announced his next with none other than Mega Powerstar Ram Charan who is currently wrapping up Dhruva shoot (the official remake of Tamil superhit Thani Oruvan). Meanwhile the recently released Dhruva teaser is simply terrific which in a way increased expectations over the film and pressure on Sukumar as well.
However, the cool and creative director Sukumar is very focused and confident over his subject. As per reliable insider sources, Sukumar-Ram Chran’s much anticipated project is a period film based in the 80s before technology especially smart phones took over us. It is apparently a feel good love story set in the bygone generation.
Ram Charan has done a period love story Magadheera earlier, but this is just about 25yrs ago. But this is the first time Sukumar is handling such a subject. The complete details of the film are yet to be announced and Sukumar is currently working on the second half. It would be great to see such brilliant project with talented individuals such as Cherry and Sukumar.
While this will be yet another experiement from the Mega Powerstar, Sukumar (who is known for his evergreen love story Arya) is expected to create magic for sure.
