The popular film personality, producer and politician T Subbarami Reddy is fondly known as Kala Bandhu for his antics and great contacts in the industry. He did immense service to the world of Fine Arts by establishing many cultural spaces all over two states. Honoring his indispensable service to the world of Art and Cinema, he is given the ANR lifetime achievement award on the eve of the legend’s birth anniversary.
Union minister Venkaiah Naidu and former AP CM Rosaiah attended this felicitation in Ravindra Bharati, Hyderabad. Speaking on the occasion, Venkaiah Naidu said that many films are losing their cultural value these days and people like Subbarami Reddy should continue working hard to keep the standards high.
The programme also featured some impressive classical dance performances by young students featuring an exclusive song on Subbarami Reddy. Venkaiah Naidu also said that Subbarami Reddy is apt for getting ANR award for the greatest service he did for culture.
