Plot:

Arjun (Vishnu Manchu), the son of advocate Narayana Rao (Rajendra Prasad) is a jobless jack. Arjun and Ashwin (Raj Tharun), the son of CI (Posani) are besties and partners in crimes. They fall in love with Neelaveni (Sonarika Bhadoria) and Supriya (Hebah Patel) respectively, the sisters of two goons (Abhimanyu Singh & Supreeth). At the demand of situations, both Arjun and Ashwin lie to everyone, get married to their respective lovers but act as husbands of each other’s wives. This confusion drama gets worse and turns as an acid test to their corresponding families as well. How did Arjun & Ashwin unfurl the knots, clear the confusions and re-unite with their families form the rest of the story.

Performances:

Manchu Vishnu & Raj Tharun outperformed each other in every aspect.

Sonarika & Hebah Patel have upped their game adding the much expected glamor to the film.

Rajendra Prasad in a way makes a comeback with a full-fledged comedy role and leads the wagon with Ravi Babu, Satya Krishna, Geetha Singh & other lead cast.

Posani plays yet another key hilarious character in the film (especially second half).

While Supreeth, Abhimanyu Singh are the two much needed dummy villains in this confusion drama, rest of the cast including Prabha Srinu, Fish Venkat, Thagubothu Ramesh & others play their best.

Analysis:

'Eedo Rakam Aado Rakam' but we are 'Review Raase Rakam'!

Coming to the film, we have seen confusion dramas earlier but this one really works like none in recent times. Though Vishnu & Raj Tharun still need to make the cut in the comedy department, with the help of author backed strong confusion drama and performances by actors like Rajendra Prasad, Ravi Babu, Posani & others, ERAR turns out to be an engaging yet hilarious entertainer.

Though the film starts on a passive note with the routine stuff, the story gains some quick momentum and breaks for intermission on a hilarious note planting the curiosity factor right. And the second half doesn’t fail to live up to the promise with abundant comedy and seriousness. And the much crucial climax also doesn’t give up easily which becomes the biggest asset for the film.

The commercial comedy entertainment specialist Nageswar Reddy, writer Diamond Ratnam & their team managed to keep the comedy quotient high throughout the film without actually missing the glam factor. Engaging narration, performances, hilarious scenes now and then and fun throughout make it an entertaining affair!

However the dual meaning dialogues and comedy are the lone elements of concern in the film.

Merits:

- Story and screenplay
- Performances especially Vishnu, Raj Tarun, Ravibabu, Geetha Singh
- Sonarika and Hebah Patel glamour
- Diamond Ratnam’s dialogues
- Comedy throughout the film

Demerits:

- Dual meaning comedy.

Music:

Sai Kartheek gives a perfect commercial album. However, the songs as usually walk in irrespective of the situation demand but don’t dare to hurt the film much.

Others:

Nothing special to mention.

Verdict:

ERAR is a fun filled confusion drama. A sheer mass entertainer (preferably for adults) with comedy throughout.
