Here is an iQlik exclusive audio review of the album:
The breezy album begins with Nuvvante Naa Navvu rendered by the extremely talented Haricharan and Sindhuri Vishal. The nostalgic style of presentation is brilliantly balanced with fusion Carnatic violin touches as well. Krishnkanth’s lyrics deserve a special mention.
Vinara Sodara is a folk marvel which follows funky storytelling and efficiently sung by Ranjith. This song has already made a big impact through the teaser and the full song doesn’t disappoint. Impressive harmonica, feel good rhythm and fun filled electric guitar makes no mistakes in bringing the modern feel.
The album slowly transforms to trance mode with Aa Seetha Devaina sung by child singers Shriya and Sumedha. The emotional violin paves the way for a wonderful melody aptly supported by harp and western classical magic. The breathtaking innocence by the vocalists get the mesmerizing balance with matured lyrics. The usage of peculiar Far East flute gives the song a unique flavor. In short, it carries the heart and soul of this album.
Rara Raavera is sung by Vedala Hemachandra and folk master Anthony Dassan. The song has interesting touches of harmonium and funky rhythm and able lyrics by Krishnakanth. Interestingly, the track breathes simplicity and rustic feel throughout with a storytelling style of presentation.
The peculiar album hits an interesting finale with an alternative rock number Ulikipadaku Ulikipadaku which gives the inevitable contemporary essence. The expressive electric guitar is flawlessly used with passionate vocals by Rahul Nambiar and Sindhuri Vishal. Krishnakanth’s lyrics are quite modern and funky as well.
