Nandamuri Natasimham Balakrishna’s Dictator has emerged as the second best opener after Legend in his career. Tagged as a pure mass entertainer, Dictator has managed to record some decent figures are the box office despite facing stiff competition from other releases.
If trade estimates are to be considered, Dictator minted around Rs 5.90Cr (share) collections and Rs 7.95Cr (gross) across the Telugu states (AP & Telangana) on day 1. The film enjoyed decent occupancy and managed to fetch around Rs 7Cr (gross) at the box office. On a whole, Balayya’s Dictator raked in Rs 15Cr (gross) in these two days. The film is estimated to have experienced a dip in the multiplexes on the second day but on the flip side, it is doing considerably well in the B,C centers.
Given the tough competition and the growing positive talk over Soggade Chinni Nayana & Express Raja, we need to wait and watch how Balayya’s mass magic can work for the film!
